Goliath

No, no, I'm not ready yet!

Goliath's owners were moving and decided they "couldn't" take him. So instead of taking him to the pound, he had been left at a ranch next to a gas station in the Northern Mojave Desert. He had been driven off by the ranch owner's other tom cats, had numerous bite wounds, and was living at the gas station right next to the busy highway. I was in the middle of moving the sanctuary critters and already had the car packed with dogs and cats. When I stopped for coffee he was crying for food and help. I fed him 2 cans of food, and the ranch owner said it was best if I take him because of the coyotes and other tom cats.

I'm ready for my closeup now, Mr. DeMill

He is a very thoughtful fellow, very tolerant, and he has recovered from his wounds and is now learning how to play and cuddle. He does not seem interested in any food that doesn't want to be eaten, nor does he have any interest in going outdoors. His favorite bed is the Papasan Chair. He is about 2 years old and 20 pounds, hence his name. He didn't have much use for dogs at first, but has now accepted them.
