The voucher is then given to a participating vet to cover the cost of the surgery. P.U.P. - FULL UNTIL MORE FUNDS!! The Prevent Unwanted Puppies (PUP) program begins October 1, 2008 for the FIRST 100 FEMALE dogs. There is a 3 dog limit per household. Available to Ridgecrest, Inyokern, and Trona residents.
C.A.T. Beginning June 1, 2009, the Cat About Town (C.A.T.) program will spay or neuter your cats in the Indian Wells Valley for $10 per critter! This includes your pets, strays, and ferals. There is no limit per household.
STOP - ON HOLD FOR MORE FUNDS 2 pets of low-income families from the Indian Wells Valley area can be spayed or neutered for FREE through the Stop Pet OverPopulation (STOP) program
